Implementing Campaign Manager - System Management
Engine DateTime SettingsEngine has two types of DateTime settings: System Wide and User Specific. System Wide
For all Date, Time and DateTime data, these system wide settings configure how Engine queries a Date, Time or DateTime column in the repository, they also govern how data is displayed in AMC. As they are system wide, these settings cannot be changed across databases in the same repository. All databases in the same repository will use the same setting values. The table below is from the Engine Technical Library and shows all possible DateTime settings in Engine. This is captured at point of writing. Refer to the Engine Technical Library for current information relating to the installed version of Engine.
User Specific
These settings are specific to a single Engine user and are therefore set at a user level. At an Engine level they influence how an Engine user sees Date, Time and DateTime columns. When using Campaign Manager with Engine, the application has a layer of user configuration for how a user sees Date, Time and DateTime columns so these settings must not be edited. When a Datasource is configured it will interrogate these settings and persist them up to Campaign Manager. |
